34 year old man from Port Colborne wins big with Lottario
A man from Port Colborne has won over a quarter of a million dollars.
Serge Laroche, 34, won $267,742.90 from the October 22nd Lottario draw.
The skilled trade worker says he was shocked at his luck.
"When I saw the Big Winner screen, it took a moment for it to fully register," Laroche said while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings. "I was wondering if I read the numbers correctly - it was overwhelming."
Laroche says he plans to buy a new car and travel.
The winning ticket was bought at Shell on Main Street in Port Colborne.
