Niagara's favourite web-slinger will have to hang up his suit, to avoid a legal battle with Marvel Entertainment.
Josh Green had been dressing up as Spider-Man for local charity events over the past three years.
But Marvel Entertainment reps sent him an e-mail last week, ordering him to stop.
They told him that they appreciate everything he has done for charity, but they already have licensed professionals for the job.
Green is the owner of Go Fitness Niagara.
