The Niagara River Lions will be back in action as the Canadian Elite Basketball Tournament kicks off in St. Catharines.
It will be the first live professional sports action in Canada.
Seven teams will compete in 26 games that ends with the championship game on August 9th.
The Niagara River Lions will play the Hamilton Honey Badgers at 1:30 p.m. in the first game of the CEBL Summer Series opening day double-header.
The Ottawa Blackjacks play their debut game against the Guelph Nighthawks at 3:50 p.m.
The teams will be separated from the public and strict COVID-19 protocols and screening will be in place.
