95 New COVID-19 Cases in Niagara

There are 1,697 active COVID-19 cases in Niagara, with St. Catharines and Niagara Falls reporting the highest numbers.

A slight rise in new COVID-19 cases in Niagara. 

Public Health reporting 95 new infections today. 

There are 58 Niagara Health patients with the virus, 43 being treated primarily for COVID-19. 

Eleven of the patients are in the ICU, including seven that are unvaccinated. 

Throughout Niagara, there are 1,697 active cases, including 555 in St. Catharines, 300 in Niagara Falls, and 198 in Welland.

There is one new outbreak, bringing the active outbreak count to 16. 

Over 1,008,000 vaccinations have been administered to date. 

About 87.2 percent of eligible residents have one vaccination, and 83.4 percent have two.
