An increase in new local COVID-19 cases.
Niagara Region Public Health is confirming 21 new infections today.
Officials also report two COVID-19 patients within Niagara Health, and one of them is in the ICU.
The region has 124 active cases and four active outbreaks.
So far, over 644,000 doses have been administered in Niagara.
About 71 percent of residents have one shot, and 63.5 percent have a complete series.
