A 31-year old man was seriously hurt early Sunday evening after the e-scooter he was riding crashed.
Police say they got the call around 6:30, arriving on scene on Niagara Street, near Birch, in Welland.
They say he was heading south, when he lost control, and ended up on the sidewalk.
He was taken to an out of region hospital with serious injuries, but he's improved to stable condition.
