Niagara Falls MPP is asking the government
More pressure from Niagara Falls NDP MPP for the Ontario government to look into the deaths of whales after they were moved from Marineland.
Wayne Gates has written to Solicitor General Michael Kerzner to investigate the well-being of Marineland's animals, after hundreds of inspections.
He says he asked for this in July, but the government refused to act, or explain what inspectors knew.
Gates adds the only medical findings have come from international aquariums.
He also says hard work continues to repurpose Marineland for the community, and learning about medical issues from outside Ontario is disgraceful.
