People in St. Catharines are not affected by a possible privacy breach, involving Alectra.
Reports say the utility's third party vendors may have accessed billing information for water related services, without the proper approval.
The City of Hamilton is warning it's residents, but there's no confirmation of a breach at this time.
Hamilton officials have asked Alectra to review the situation and disclose any issues.
