Province's top doctor says funding decision could come later today.
Ontario's top doctor says funding decisions for a long COVID strategy will be made soon.
Dr. Kieran Moore says the province is working to help guide primary care physicians on how to care for patients with long COVID.
Several proposals have been made by hospitals to Ontario Health, and a funding announcement on how a long COVID treatment strategy could be approached is expected to be made later today.
The province recently disbanded it's COVID-19 science advisory table, which had called for a comprehensive strategy to deal with long COVID.
Moore says health officials are working to create standard definitions and treatment protocol for long COVID.
