Niagara is reporting 28 new cases of COVID-19 and one new death.
Public Health says we now have 279 active cases in the Region and our death toll has reached 78.
Lincoln currently has the most active cases followed by Fort Erie and Thorold.
We have 14 active outbreaks in effect and five of them are in healthcare facilities.
The province is reporting 1,426 new cases today which is it's highest single-day increase since the pandemic began.
Health Minister Christine Elliott says another 886 people have also recovered.
