The Mayor of St. Catharines was quite happy to hear about the Safe Restart Funding announcement from the province.
The Garden City will receive about $2.7-million and Mayor Walter Sendzik says its great news for the municipality.
He says the money will support the community as we continue the battle against COVID-19.
Regional Chair Jim Bradley would to also thank the province for the new Safe Restart Funding.
The Region will receive over $9-million and Bradley says it will provide much needed financial relief for the costs associated with the pandemic.
