The Niagara Police Services Board has announced a new Chair and Vice-Chair.
Port Colborne Mayor Bill Steele will serve as Chair, after serving as Vice Chair for two years.
Steele, who was once also a Councilor for Port Colborne, says he is excited to work as part of this team to ensure the safety of Niagara residents.
"I want to thank the members for their trust in me to serve as Police Services Board Chair. We have a very dedicated group, intent on working with our Chief, Bryan MacCulloch, and all the men and women of the police service to ensure that Niagara continues to have a safe and healthy community."
Replacing Steele as Vice Chair will Dave Eke, who has served the Board since June 2019.
Eke has over 40 years experience in the private and public sector.
He was elected as a Regional Councilor in 2000 and was elected Lord Mayor of Niagara-on-Lake in 2010.
