More Than $34,000 Raised in Niagara For Bike to Beat Myeloma Ride

Fundraiser surpasses local goal of $30,000.

Over $34,000 was raised in Niagara this weekend for the first ever Myeloma Canada Ride: Bike to Beat Myeloma.

The Ride took place on Sunday, and started at the Port Robinson Community Centre in Thorold.

Thorold Mayor Terry Ugulini and Port Colborne Mayor Bill Steele were on hand to greet the cyclists.

Throughout Canada, almost $184,000 was raised for Myeloma Canada.

Multiple myeloma is the second most common form of blood cancer.
