The NRP have laid charges stemming from a Welland arson investigation.
The suspect, who is from Katrine, Ontario, was arrested on Monday with the help of the K9 unit, the Emergency Task Unit, the Marine Unit.
He faces charges of arson and fail to comply with release order.
On October 9th, NRP officers responded to the scene of a fire near Duncan Street and Cozy Street in Welland.
Police observed that the residence and a vehicle were on fire, and four occupants and a dog were helped to safety.
No one was hurt and the suspect was scheduled to appear in court yesterday.
