Festive RIDE Wraps Up in Niagara Falls

Niagara Regional Police have finished their Festive RIDE campaign.

Officers set up checkpoints in Niagara Falls for the New Year's Eve celebrations.
About 350 vehicles were stopped and nine drivers were asked for breath samples.
One of the drivers was issued a three-day license suspension after getting an alert reading on a roadside breath test.
Police are reminding everyone that impaired driving is the leading criminal cause of death in Canada.
The NRP says to find a safe way home after after drinking or taking cannabis.
