UPDATE: Seaway Fluid Power Fire Deemed Not Suspicious

UPDATE: The fire at the Seaway Fluid Power plant in St. Catharines has been deemed not suspicious.

Deputy Fire Chief Frank Biancucci says it caused about $3-million in damage Friday night.

He says it caused significant damage to the building and content inside, but there's no word on the cause at this time.

The Ontario Fire Marshall investigated the blaze.

No one was hurt after a fire at Seaway Fluid Power in St. Catharines.

Firefighters responded to the blaze on Cushman Road late Friday night.

Seaway says it affected a large section of their operation.

There's no word on the cause or damage estimate at this time.

Seaway is an industrial machinery and equipment company. It specializes in hydraulic hoses, fittings and air compressor equipment.

The plant reopened on Monday.
