Niagara Region's case count remains low
An uptick in COVID 19 cases across the province over the weekend.
Ontario health officials reporting 423 new infections yesterday and six additional deaths.
On Saturday the province registered 378 new cases.
The Ministry of Health says 115 patients are in intensive care and of those, 85 are breathing with the help of a ventilator.
Niagara Public Health reported 3 new infections yesterday and 4 additional cases Saturday.
Officials say to date, 70 percent of Niagara residents have received a first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and close to 62 percent are double dosed.
