This money is from next year's budget, enabling groups that enhance community gatherings and participation
An opportunity for registered charities, non profits and individual artists in Welland to apply for financial help is here.
Welland's 2027 Community Grants program is accepting applications now to November 26th, for services, programs and events that improve community connections, participation and quality of life.
The city tells us applications are based on need, financial sustainability, alignment with city priorities and community support.
Mayor Frank Campion says the money, from next year's budget, creates opportunities for people to connect and have a sense of belonging.
