Wanted Man Arrested in St. Catharines

Police have arrested a man they've been searching for since the summer, with 19 warrants issued for his arrest.

On Tuesday, police say 41-year old Joshua Stevens of St. Catharines was seen driving in the city, and stopped at a business on Fourth Avenue.

He was arrested while trying to get back into the vehicle.

He was wanted for:

  • Break and Enter with Intent (2 counts)
  • Break and Enter Commit (4 counts)
  • Dangerous Operation (3 counts)
  • Fail to Comply with Probation Order (8 counts)
  • Fail to Stop at the Scene of an Accident (2 counts)
  • Flight from Peace Officer (2 counts)
  • Operation While Prohibited (8 counts)
  • Possession of Credit Card within Canada
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime (9 counts)
  • Resist Arrest
  • Theft of Motor Vehicle (4 counts)
  • Theft over $5000
  • Theft under $5000 (2 counts)

He had a bail hearing yesterday.
