Weapons and drugs seized during traffic stop
A man from Brampton is facing drug and weapon charges after a traffic stop in St. Catharines.
Early Saturday morning, patrol officers Stopped an Audi near Church Street and Niagara.
Police say the vehicle didn't have a properly registered license plate.
During the stop, officers spotted cannabis inside the car.
The driver was arrested, and the vehicle was searched.
Police also found a revolver, a 15 inch hunting knife with a 10 inch fixed blade, suspected cocaine and suspected fentanyl.
Nineteen year old Tyrese Amos Ross Fisher faces numerous charges.
A bail hearing took place later that day, and he has been remanded into custody.
