The Town of Pelham is in the midst of updating the Comprehensive Zoning By-Law to ensure it conforms with the Town Official Plan.
The by-law was initially approved in 1987.
The Town is conducting a review in order to ensure that the by-law reflects current development trends and is flexible in regards to future changes.
A new hybrid by-law is being proposed.
If passed, the new by-law will use contextual zoning in the Town's greenfield areas and conventional zoning in rural and built-up areas.
Residents who wish to provide feedback on land-use issues of interest can do so here.
