Two year old boy hospitalized with serious injuries.
A nurse from Thorold is facing assault charges.
Niagara Regional Police say on August 5th, they received a call about a two year old boy with medical limitations being assaulted.
The child was taken by Niagara EMS to a local hospital before being taken to an out of region centre for specialized care.
Police say the toddler suffered serious injuries.
Yesterday, police arrested 23 year old Eric Hang of Port Colborne.
He has been charged with assault with a weapon, aggravated assault, and two counts of assault.
Hang has been a registered practical nurse for over a year, and police are concerned there may be more victims.
