Stevensville Teen Makes Top 10 in Searchlight 2020

At just 15 years old, Maci Wood is the youngest finalist in Searchlight 2020.

She and Rich Roach are a songwriting and performing duo from Niagara in CBC's annual musical talent competition.
Thousands of Canadians entered videos of original works.
Public voting was held in February and the top 10 was selected.
Seven were picked by the judges and three spots were filled by popular vote.
Wood and Roach snagged one of the popular voting slots.
The judging panel will announce the winner of the competition this Thursday.
Up for grabs is a week at a recording studio and the chance to play at JunoFest and CBC Music Festival.
