Niagara Falls Mayor calls Burland "the joie de vivre of Clifton Hill"
Niagara Falls will turn yellow, blue and green tonight from 9:00 to 9:15 pm to honour the contributions he made to tourism and the community.
Burland, who passed away December 23rd after a fight with cancer at the age of 54, was the president of Niagara Clifton Group.
His family started the business in 1925 when they purchased their first property on Clifton Hill.
Since then the business has expanded and at its peak employs close to 300 people every summer.
