An advisory from both the Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority and the province.
The NPCA says the Ministry of Natural Resources is predicting Lake Erie water levels will increase by one metre or three feet because of the storm.
The Ministry also warning of wave heights of 1.7 metres or 5.6 feet to occur along the shoreline.
Peak water levels are expected late this morning into early afternoon and will start to drop off tonight.
Residents are urged to stay away from the shoreline
