A 15 year old boy is accused of doing "burnouts" on a Niagara-on-the-Lake crosswalk
Police continue to investigate after a rainbow crosswalk in Niagara-on-the-Lake was vandalized.
Just after 4 PM on June 1st, damage was done to a crosswalk at Niagara Stone Road and Anderson Lane.
Earlier this week, police released pictures of the suspect, who is accused of using an ATV to do "burnouts" at the spot.
The suspect has been identified as a 15 year old boy from St. Catharines.
Police say due to the Youth Criminal Justice Act, he hasn't been charged criminally, but has been introduced to the extrajudicial measures program.
The program looks to hold young people accountable without going through the court process.
