Another COVID-19 outbreak is now over at the St. Catharines Hospital.
An outbreak was declared on April 14th, after a healthcare worker tested positive for the virus on inpatient unit 4-A.
Niagara Health closely monitored patients and staff for 14 days and says there has been no evidence of further transmission and no new cases of the virus.
The Executive Vice President of Clinical Services and Chief Nursing Executive is thanking the team for managing the outbreak and making sure infection prevention and control measures were carried out.
