Province confirming 1,301 COVID-19 patients, including 202 in ICU.
COVID-19 hospitalizations continue to rise in Ontario.
The province is reporting 1,301 people in hospital with the virus today, which is about 19 percent higher than a week ago.
As well, the number of ICU patients has risen from 184 to 202 over the same period.
Closer to home, Niagara Health is reporting 64 hospitalizations, with 29 being treated primarily for the virus.
Five of the patients are in the ICU.
