Queen's Park will mark the coronation of King Charles on Saturday with a flag raising ceremony, carnival rides, and more
Niagara West MPP Sam Oosterhoff is encouraging residents to come to Queen's Park on Saturday to celebrate the coronation of King Charles.
We spoke to Oosterhoff, who says there will be something for everyone at the event.
"It's really a once in a lifetime event", he says. "Everyone across the province is invited. Thelieutenant governor, Premier Ford and Indigenous leaders will be holding a flag raising ceremony...and there will be complementary carnival rides, live entertainment and a Taste of Ontario event with free food."
As well, there will be free admission to 39 provincial parks on Saturday.
Meanwhile, here in Niagara, the Butterfly Conservatory and Floral Showhouse will have free admission that day.
