Niagara is under a severe thunderstorm watch.
According to the weather office, the region could get severe thunderstorms this afternoon into the evening.
A few thunderstorms are expected to track southeastward this afternoon, and there may be toonie size hail and winds around 90 km/h.
The thunderstorms are expected to move out of the area this evening.
Strong winds can toss loose objects, and hail can damage property and cause injuries.
If threatening weather approaches, you're advised to take cover right away.
