Workers vote tomorrow on whether to accept deal or not
Some good news concerning the potential strike by over 800 Niagara Parks workers.
Their union says a tentative deal was reached late last night with the employer.
Details have not been released on what's in the deal, but employees will vote on whether to accept it or not tomorrow.
The union has said the provincial government should not be involved since this is not taxpayer money, but accuses the government of trying to set an example for its discussions with public sector unions.
A strike would have impacted the major tourism season for Niagara, as workers say they want wages that keep up with inflation.
