The Niagara Catholic District School Board is going to put it's eight 3D printers to good use.
Five staff members will use them to create personal protective equipment from the comfort of their own homes.
The program was in the final stages of it's prototype phase on Friday and the pilot phase will begin tomorrow.
The goal is to deliver 450 ear savers for face masks and 100 frames for face shields to frontline healthcare workers by May 11th.
