It happened Friday night in Niagara Falls
Officers and EMS were called to the Fourth Avenue and Hamilton Street area around 7 pm after two men got into an argument over the ownership of a vehicle.
A 30 year old man is accused of stabbing a 21 year old male with a screwdriver.
The 21 year old fled the scene and was helped by witnesses.
The victim was airlifted to an out of region hospital with life threatening injuries.
He is listed in stable condition.
30 year old Karl Schmidt is charged with aggravated assault.
