Air quality statements in effect for much of Southern Ontario
Most of the Golden Horseshoe remains under an Air Quality Statement, but not Niagara
Wildfire smoke from forest fires in northwestern Ontario is causing problems again for a wide swath of the Golden Horseshoe, including Toronto Hamilton, Halton, York and Waterloo regions.
Environment Canada warning high levels of air pollution due to smoke from forest fires are possible today.
But we may not be out of the woods just yet
The forecast from Environment Canada for Niagara warns that "local smoke" is possible overnight tonight into tomorrow.
