Loblaws officials say that three staff members at three stores have tested positive for the virus.
On January 6th, an employee at Shoppers Drug Mart on Lundy's Lane received a positive diagnosis.
This person last worked on December 31st.
Another case has been reported at Real Canadian Superstore on Louth Street in St. Catharines.
An employee who last worked on December 29th tested positive yesterday.
The third case involves a staff member at Shoppers Drug Mart on Garrison Village Drive in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
This case was announced today, and the person last worked on December 30th.
Loblaws officials say that all stores within Canada are requiring staff and customers to maintain proper COVID-19 safety measures including social distancing and wearing a mask.
While Loblaws does keep a list of stores with positive cases on their website, no personal information about employees is released.
