One person charged following two separate R.I.D.E checkpoints in Niagara on Canada Day.
A 40 year old man is facing charges following a R.I.D.E spot check in Port Colborne.
Sokha Kheng of Downsview was arrested and charged with impaired driving at Sherkston Shores where Niagara Regional Police stopped around 400 vehicles on Canada Day.
In all, 12 drivers provided breath samples with Kheng being the only one to fail the test.
Police were also set up at Westchester Cr. in St. Catharines where they stopped roughly 120 vehicles.
Four drivers were requested to give breath samples and all passed.
