Owner of SUV now facing charges
A 32 year old St. Catharines man is facing charges in connection to an accident between a house and SUV.
The incident happened just afternoon midnight on May 21st at home in Crystal Beach.
At the time, the owner of the SUV involved was at the scene but claimed his vehicle had been stolen from the parking lot of a nearby bar.
NRP have now charged the vehicle owner Chaz McLean-Hill with dangerous operation of a vehicle and impaired driving.
He's been released from custody with a future court date.
The accident caused significant damage to the home making it no longer safe for occupancy.
One person inside the home suffered minor injuries.
