Police say 38-year old man is the victim of a homicide
Update: Monday afternoon:
Police say the body found is that of 38-year old Daniel Sanvido.
They're looking to speak with anyone who may have had contact with Daniel in the week leading up to his death.
Original Story:
On Saturday around 3:30pm, officers were called to the area of Forkes Road and Highway 140 in Port Colborne on reports of a deceased male in a grassy area off the roadway.
Detectives say the investigation is in its preliminary stages and are working with homicide and forensic services units.
Officers say they do not believe there is an on-going threat to the community.
