Police say it happened early Friday morning, in the Stanley Avenue and Main Street area of Niagara Falls
A 55-year old woman is dead after being hit by a car in Niagara Falls.
Police arrived on scene in the Stanley Avenue and Main Street area at around 2:30, Friday morning.
The woman was rushed to hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Police say a BMW was heading south on Stanley when it hit the pedestrian in the southbound lane.
The driver, a 20-year old Niagara Falls resident, remained at the scene.
