Police have charged her son with 2nd degree murder, after the discovery Saturday morning in the Huron and St. Clair Avenue area
A 41-year-old Niagara Falls man faces a murder charge after his mother was found dead in a home on Saturday.
Police were called to the Huron and St. Clair Avenue area that morning to check on the welfare of a resident.
When they got there, they found 59-year old Lori Konrad dead.
Police add they have evidence that this was not a random act of violence.
Dale James Vincent is charged with second-degree murder, and remains in custody after a bail hearing yesterday.
This is the 15th homicide in Niagara Falls this year, more than double what the Region sees each year.
