They will hit the Welland South Canal, for the National Rowing Championships and Canada Cup.
Welland will host the tournament later this year, for the first time since 2013.
Competitors from across the country will be in the Rose City from Thursday September 17th to Monday September 21st.
The 2000m National Rowing Championship small boats races will start on the Thursday and end on the Sunday.
The 500m Canada Cup big boat races will be taking place on the Monday.
The medalists will be honoured at the annual Athlete Awards Banquet.
Mayor Frank Campion says Welland's flat watercourses are recognized internationally as among of the best in the world.
