The City of Welland has decided to extend the closure of all public facilities due to COVID-19.
They will remain closed until June 30th.
Officials have also decided to cancel all events and programs leading up to that date.
All city departments and divisions remain operational at this time, but they would like to resume normal business operations on July 6th.
City staff meet daily to discuss the latest information surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic.
They may re-evaluate the June 30th deadline if they receive new information from Public Health.
