The City of Welland has decided to cancel recreational programs at the Welland Community Wellness Complex until further notice.
This will affect all of the programs that were supposed to start on April 6th.
Those who signed up will be notified a week in advance before the programs start up again.
Officials will close the Transit Terminal on East Main Street after 9:30 p.m. tonight.
They have also closed all of the washrooms at Merritt Island.
All outdoor parks and playgrounds remain closed at this time.
The skate park is also off-limits.
