Over 60 people showed to support an end of what they say is Isreali occupation
Over 60 people showed up on Saturday for a rally with the Niagara Movement for Justice in Palestine Isreal.
It was at the Pen Centre, meant to rally for what the group says is an end to the occupation of Palestine, which is says is the root cause of violence.
The co-founder of the group says they believe the Canadian government's recent support for a ceasefire at the UN is only an anemic response to what they want, which is a binding ceasefire resolution from the Security Council, and an immediate stop to what they say is the root cause of the crisis... Isreal's occupation.
The group says it will keep demanding real action from the Canadian government, adding it can't stand by while it says there is genocide in Palestine.
