While on the phone, he told her he was going to stop at the store and check the numbers, to which she said "Call me back when we're millionaires."
The OLG says he was shocked at the win, Gena didn't believe him at first, and her mother cried at the news.
They'll pay bills off and put the money to early retirement.
The ticket was bought at Petro-Canada on Niagara Street in Welland.
