Doug Ford has 1:00 announcement scheduled
Ford will be joined by his Health Minister Christine Elliot, Kaleed Rasheed, Associate Minister of Digital Government and Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Kieran Moore.
The Toronto Sun is reporting that beginning Sept. 22nd, proof of vaccination will be needed for restaurants, bars, gyms and other indoor settings where masks cannot be worn for the duration of the visit.
The paper says for the first month, Ontario residents can show the receipt issued when they got double dosed or a receipt downloaded from the government website, along with another piece of government identification, such as a driver’s licence.
The report also says the government is planning to introduce an app where the vaccine receipt can be uploaded.
