Unvaccinated players will need to sit out games against the Jays at the Rogers Centre.
The Major League Baseball season is right around the corner, but players who aren't vaccinated against COVID-19 will have to sit out games at the Rogers Centre.
Several media outlets reporting players who aren't fully immunized will be placed on a restricted list when their teams are in Toronto, as current restrictions don't allow unvaccinated foreigners to cross the Canadian border.
Union head Tony Clark notes while this is concerning, it's an issue the MLB will have to navigate through moving forward.
Toronto's first home game of the season will be April 8th against Texas.
