The numbers are in and it looks like Niagara's jobless rate went up. Statistics Canada says it was 5.9 percent last month.
This is slightly higher than the 5.8 percent reported in August.
Ontario's unemployment rate fell to 5.3 percent.
The national rate dropped down to 5.5 percent, with 54,000 net new jobs added to the Canadian economy.
