The province announcing $24 million dollars in funding to help Ontario's arts sector.
140 arts organizations will benefit from the provincial money in an effort to help them survive the COVID-19 pandemic and prepare for a time when they can fully reopen.
Shaw Festival in Niagara-on-the-Lake will receive $999,593 in funding and the Niagara Symphony will be given $52,000.
Another $1 million will provide much-needed support directly to artists and creators from across the province.
More information on this, including eligibility requirements and application deadlines, will be available soon on the Ontario Arts Council website.
