Two More Cases Of Omicron Variant Found in Ontario

Ontario now has at least 10 cases of the more transmissible variant

Health officials in Hamilton and Peel Region announcing the latest infections.

Hamilton Public Heath adding a second potential case is under investigation, with results expected in the coming days.

Both the confirmed and suspected cases involve a pair who recently travelled to South Africa.

Officials add the two along with their close contacts continue to self isolate

Canada's first known Omicron case emerged last week when two positive tests were confirmed in Ottawa.
